Monday morning again

Hi everyone , well here we are another weekend over , the weather has been quite nice here this weekend but its turned really cold this morning , with a bit of a breeze blowing , just hope the snow keeps away .
I was tinkering about this weekend with an idea i got from a lovely lady called Christina from
www.card-making-magic.com she has given me so much inspiration this last few weeks since i came across her website and blog , and i am ever so grateful to her . I have totally changed my views on card making , i have come well out of my comfort zone and am now trying things i would never have believed i could do , and enjoying every minute of it .
In making these cards i am pushing myself to try and use all the tools and equipment i have spent a lot of money on over the years but have been pushed to one side cos i didnt really know what they were capable of doing , especially my spellbinders , and this weekend my stamps .
So here is a card i made on friday night , but i wasnt really sure about the colours , but my eldest son and brother said they liked it and i should post it and if i get bad feedback then i know i was right and they were wrong lol
I used cardstock from my stash folded in half made a a5 card , its a bronze shimmer cardstock i matted and layed some lemon and patterned paper from my stash , i cut some shapes with my spellbinders and stamped best wishes onto the top one , i made a tag inked the background with distress inks then stamped images from the Papermania Urban stamp set that i won from docrafts (these are a gorgeous set of stamps ) . To decorate i made some roses from co-ordinating paper and some flowers i put pearls inside added leaves i cut on my Cameo , and a ribbon . .............still not sure about this card but maybe you could tell me otherwise ......

I think the colours work really well and you only have to look at the combinations in nature to see some really unusual mixtures...so if mother nature gets it right who are we to argue with her. The card is lovely and I bet you haven't had any negative feedback at all. xx
