1st design team card for -------

Here is the card i made for my  first challenge .....

The challenge is a colour challenge , and this is the brief we got .....

 

I went through all my papers and thought this one from a MCS book i have had for quite some time , but they are so gorgeous i havent wanted to use them lol . The shaped card is one of HunkyDorys , the stamped sentiment is from Sincere Sentiments from Creative Expressions ,i stamped the image onto a Spellbinder shape , then threaded some pink rafia paper through the holes , then  i backed the stamp onto some purple mirri board , the whole thing was finished off with deep pink ribbon , a bow , and card candi .

Here is the card i made using an image from Saturated Canary

 

 The image was really great to work with , and loved colouring it in with my Promarkers . All the papers are from my stash , i have had them such a long time i cant remember were i got them . There is lace and buttons from my stash . there is faux stitching around the card , and has you can see on the 2nd pic the inside is decorated to compliment the outside .....

This image is from Bugaboo , it is a gorgeous image and lovely to work with , i coloured it in using Promarkers matted onto red and white dotted card and edged with cream lace . There is also a mat of patterend paper which i embossed , the first layer of patterned paper is from an MCS book , its embossed and glittered , its gorgeous paper , and its the first time i have used any from the book , i just look at it and put it away , but i thought this image needed some paper with a wow factor .... I finished off with faux gems and a ribbon ....

This image is from Michelle Perkett, and is another gorgeous image , again coloured with Promarkers , the white back ground has been embossed , then used papers from stash cut to fancy shapes and edged with Martha Stewarts punch around the page . The flower was made by me using white lace and needle and cotton , put 2 layers of lace on top of one another and added a card candi to the centre , i also added some ribbon and 3 more card candi to finish card off ....

Right onto my card ..........

 

I made an easel shaped card for the challenge , i used a Hunky Dory card blank , and half of another to create the easel . The papers i used are all from my stash  (sorry i cant remember whos papers they are as i have had them too long )

 I loved working with this image , i used  Promarkers to colour her in , then fussy cut around her , and mounted her on foam tape . The doily is from my stash , as are the gems, lace, and the greeting .Some of  the flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts and others from ebay ....

All papers for this card are from my stash , the flowers i have had forever, i used a doily and a greeting which i cut from a magazine i thought it worked well with the image . The image was coloured with Promarkers, i love the humour in this image , i added cosmic shimmer to the flowers for the shine , and faux gems for the sparkle.

Say it with flowers

Hiya everyone , today i have a card i made , again using the new Spellbinder Grand decorative oval dies , i love these dies . I cut the largest of the dies for the base in cream card ,and ran that through an Mbossability folder , then the next size down in cream , but also followed the edge of the same die with my pencil and cut it out in a pale pink and cream card , from Hunky Dory . The smallest die i cut from pink glitter card which has writing alover it in white glitter. The focal image is from Hunky Dory , which i put cream lace all around the edge and used cosmic shimmer glue to make the faux pearls , some of the flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts , and others from my stash ....

Oval shaped easel card .....

I recieved the new Grand Decorative ovals one , and Grand Decorative Circles one , today so i had to have a play , i have made 2 cards so far and cut out lots of card blanks for my stash . The card i am showing today is an oval easel card , i used the 2 largest of the oval shapes , for the mats , but i used the inside of the largest ,cut by hand, also . The papers are from my stash , cant remember where i got them , but the image and greetings are from a kit made my Hunky Dory , i have had for ages , but thought it went with the fancy edges of the card , I used some cream cotton lace and cosmic glue for the faux pearls .And to finish off i used some roses ...

Wedding card and Box

I was told on friday afternoon that a neighbour was getting married on Saterday , so i started making a card for them about 9-30pm Friday night , i was still up after 1-30am Saturday , i still had lots of cutting out to do but was making silly mistakes cos i was tired so went to bed . I was awake again at 5am , so got up had a drink , and decided to try get the card and box finished , i managed to get it all done just before they set off to wedding ....

Here is what i came up with ---

 

I took loads of pictures but think you can see enough of it with these .

 

Nearly all of it was cut on my Cameo , the horseshoe is a free file from Ukscrappers , the flowers are Spellbinders , also the leaves .

The greeting is computor generated , the ribbon and lace is from my stash , also the faux pearls .

The cardstock is from The Papermill .....

 

The bride and bridemaids look awsome , and the rain stayed off till they got to church ......

My card for this challenge was made using an a4 card blank ,tent fold ,i layered it up with a very pale gold coloured, embossed card , then used a blue check paper cut into pieces, and layered those in different directions .The image is from www.dudetimedoodles.com/   coloured with Promarkers , cut out using a Spellbinder Die , then inked the edges with Distress ink .... The sentiment was from my stash , to finish it off i went round all the edges with a glitter pen doing faux stitches ....

Forever Friends challenge 43 anything goes

Todays challenge is Anything goes , there are some smashing prizes up for grabs , so come on , play along with us and have some fun ......

My first card is a Twisted Easel , the image is from my Whoopsie Daisy cd , coloured with Promarkers , the flowers are from ebay , greeting from LOTV greeting stamp set . Everything else on the card is from my stash , i think the backing card is from Kanban , but i have had it so long cant remember where i bought it .

This next card was cut on my Cameo , the backing paper is from MCS  paper pack , Image is another Whoopsie Daisy , coloured with Promarkers , and glittered her wings , the flowers are from Do Crafts also coloured with Promarkers , Faux pearls were added using Cosmic Shimmer Pearl PVA glue ....I really like the way this turned out ........

You can tell i enjoy playing with the Whoopsie Daisy images , this is another image that was allocated to us for this challenge , again she was coloured with Promarkers , wings were glittered .

The pink card layer is from HunkyDory, so this was a quick card for me , i cut a Spellbinders shape so i could lay the image on top , using foam pads , the heart shapes that came out of the die was used to decorate the card . I then added more faux pearls using Cosmic Shimmer pearl pva glue , the greeting was from my stash .

This last card is another Twisted Easel , and  was made using a gorgeous image from Oak Pond Creations (OPC). I really did love working with this image , and shall no doubt use it a lot . Coulered in again with Promarkers , i tried to cut the image out with Spellbinders die so some of it was hanging over the edge , but i didnt do it right so cut another die and matted the image on top , i got the look i wanted but went all round houses to get it lol. All the papers for this card were found lurking in a drawer i forgot i had them , i used a 6in1 punch for all the edges , the flowers were made from the same backing paper , and placed on top of leaves i cut on my Cameo (love this machine ) . The sentiments were also lurking in the depths of the drawers.
