GDT card

This card was made for Foreverfriends GDT fortnightly challenge , it looks much better in real life the colours are gorgeous , all the mats and card base was cut using my Cameo , then i coloured 1 doily and left the other plain white , the image was printed from my Forever friends cd , and the greeting was stamped and embossed , the flowers were bought from ebay ..... http://foreverfriendschallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/fortnightly-challenge-flowers.html

Just having a messaround

Morning all well it is a really beautiful morning here , the sun is out and there isnt a cloud in the sky , and that dreaded wiind has dropped ....
Yesterday i was having a play with my Grand Calliber , and Mbossabilitiy folders , i dont know about you but i buy stuff and forget about things i have bought and they just get pushed to one side , till i have a clean up and find them , then its palytime . A really good friend of mine sent me a load of the gilding flakes and flitter glu for xmas , but i wasnt really sure what to do with them , till i saw the programme on C&C yesterday then i just had to play . So on the first card i Mbossed a sheet of cream cardstock , i stamped out a sentiment and used the glu and flakes on it , then cut it out with a spellbinder die and used pearls around the edge to finish that off . I placed a wide gold and cream ribbon around the base of the card and fastened a bow , button , cord and a pearl to that , then added 3 pearls to the top 2 corners .

My sons said they dont like it its too plain ,  but i really like it , what do you think ?.

Just using up my stash

I had been going through my stash and found some images i had printed from my Humphrey cds , so decided to make up a card using stuff i have had for awhile , here is the end product . I used a card blank from Kanban , embossed it using an  Mbossability folder , that i inked up before running it through my grand caliber , (i havent done that before ) i used dusty concord and milled lavender distress inks to colour the folder and the edges of the card . I then did a lot of matting and layering with white,lilac,and pattered paper , i wrapped lilac ribbon and white lace around the mats and stuck it all onto the base card . I added the decoupaged image onto a shape cut from spellbinders die ,with a greeting, a bow and pearls . Lastly i threaded a ribbon through a border cut from another spellbinder die and a row of white lace along the side , and finished off with sinlk flowers , a lilac button , and a bow .

Lime Green and all the Purples

I made this card using this sketch the base card is Adorable Scorable and i have used plain and patterend lime green papers in different shades for the mat and layers . I also used purple and lilac plain and patterened papers for the mats and the die cutting shapes and the leaves . The flowers are some i bought from Ebay , and the topper i bought years ago , there was a big box of alsorts from a bootsale , (i got a real bargain that day)lol , i added a sentiment and faux pearls to finish it all off . Apart from the base card and flowers i have used , everything else is from my stash , and i have had this for years , i cant believe what has been lurking in my boxes all these years .........

Whoopsie Daisy sketch challenge

I have made this card to enter into the challenge over at Whoopsie Daisy , i have used my Daisy and Friends cd to print out the image and coloured her in with my new Flex markers , i used a bright orange card base , cut 2 broders from my Spellbinders and places those together in the middle of the card , i then cut a square of contrasting backing paper and place that over the borders , the image i cut using a Spellbinder shape , then finished it off with flowers ,leaves ,gems,butterfly, a greeting and faux stitching.

The picture doesnt do this card justice , the colours are really vibrant and warm looking .

Forever Friends sketch challenge

I must say i loved making this card , but you want to see the mess i have to clear up with everything i got out lol. I started by cutting the doily shape out on my Cameo , then joined them together with a small piece of card to make an Easel shaped card , i used papers from my stash , the image was from Digital Designer cds , and that was plased on a circle of paper that i glues lace to the outside edge , i put 2 rows of ribbon accross the middle and wooden flowers along the edge of the large circle . The bottom just has a tag mounted on contrasting paper with another wooden flower to finish it off .

Birthday celebration

This card was designed using the Digital Designer cds i also used cardstock and backing papers from my stash , i printed out and decoupaged the main image , i plaited 23 colourd ribbons and wrapped it around the backing paper on the left then made a bow and added a flower cut out , gems were added to finish it off . i am entering this card in to following challenge http://cardsgalorechallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/cards-galore-april-challenge.html Celebrations ....

Oranges and Lemons

Another card made using cardstock and papers i have had forever , its a foldback card shape i used a Martha Stewert punch for the borders , i cut 2 circles for the focal flower and threaded ribbon through ,tied a bow , i added a brad to the top which is holding the ribbon , the leaves were cut from spellbinder dies and flower i bought from ebay ....

This card was made using cardstock from my stash , again not sure were i bought it i have had it so long , the images are from the Jane Shasky cds From the heart of the garden , lots of matting and layering with pearls to finish off .

Yummy Chocolate..........

Morning all and Happy Easter to you , and Happy Birthday Dad xx .

I made this card using lots of shades of chocolate coloured paper and card , lots of the cardstock and papers i have had for years so not sure where i got them , some were dogeared and torn but i am on a mission this year to use up all the stuff i have had for ages , so here is what i made ......

There is lots of textures and diecuting going on here , the flower was bought from ebay , i made the bow from Seam Binding , i also made the stickpin .

Flowers Galore ......

This card was made using purple cardstock for the base then 2 shades of lilac mottled paper from Hot Off The Press , and cream card , i used flowers from Wild Orchid and a few satin roses from my stash , i cut leaves , and mats from my spellbinders, stamped a message , and added pearls ,ribbon and lace to finish off , i really like these colours together , (which is good cos i bought a couple of boxes of this cardstock )lol so there will be a lot of purple and cream cards coming ,lol......

Cream on Cream

This card was inspired by Christina from http://flowersribbonsandpearls.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/zig-zag-card-for-another-look.html, she is totally awsome at what she does and creates and shares it all with us , she has really helped me with my card making and made me think out of the box when it comes to making up my cards ...

I made this card using cream cardstock , a martha stewert punch and spellbinders , with ribbon and pearls to embellish , there are butterflies i cut on my Cameo added to diferent layers .  It is a Zig Zag card all interlocked together ,  but even with all the embellishments on it it still goes flat enough to go inside a normal envelope ... Green and Cream

This card i made last night while watching Sue Wilson demoing the new Spellbinders Dies , i ussed papers from my Hot Off the press stash i have had for ages , i love there papers and didnt want to use them , but my new years resolution was to use my stash so i have been doing .....

Its an a5 card in a deep cream colour i matted 3 shades of green paper onto the base card , the top layer i ran through my new Mbossing folder , i cut lots of different shapes and leaves from my spellbinders . The stamp i think is lovely i use it a lot , the roses were made by hand cutting some swirls (the rougher the cut the better ) out of cream and green paper , made them up and added pearls . the ribbon i have had ages again i didnt want to use it but i made myself lol. I am not usually a green person but i really do like the way this turned out .........

Paintbox Poppets

This card made in the same way as the last one (orange Daisy and friends card) just set out diferent and used diferent colours , the topper is from Paintbox Poppets cd , I am trying to use stash i have had for ages so not sure were the papers are from ........

Daisy and friends

Well i have been awake since 3-47 am and couldnt settle so i was up and crafting , i had some images printed out so decided to make some cards with those , using stuff i have had for ages , so i dont know where they came from sorry ....

The first card i made was using an image from the Daisy and Friends cd for the topper , it was matted onto a cream dotty and orange dotty paper and gems were added to the corners . I used an 8x8 card and matted co-ordinating papers that i had punched the right edge of , i wrapped a ribbon round all the layers before i stuck them down  , i tied a double bow added a paper flower, and pearl , then finished off with a sentiment ,paper flowers ,pearls and gems .... I love the colours ......
