Black and white

Playing around with my crafty  bits and peices i decided to make a note board , I used to make lots of these , not made one since last year so thought i would start again , they make brilliant stocking fillers for friends and family xmas pressies .

Pennys challenge

Morning all ,  hope you had a better nights sleep than i did ,  it was far too warm , but there was no air , and my last took both the fans into there rooms so i had to make do ....

Are You Brave Enough

Forever Friends DT card for challenge 41
Morning Friends and followers , firstly i would like to say a really BIG thank you to all the friends that leave me comments on my blog cards , you are really too kind .......

This card is a Forever Friends , its for the july challenge 41 , the theme is Are You Brave Enough ,
Basically , its to show a card we made when we first started crafting , and one we have made for this challenge , embarresed doesnt even come close to cover how i feel showing one of my first cards , but i have to admit i have come a long way since then lol....

Christening card

Morning to you all ,  well it started off wet here this morn but it is warm and dry now .

This morning i have a Christening card , i made for my son to give to his best friend and wife on Sunday , my son is Godfather to little Archie .

The card is an a5 cream cardstock , then a layer of enbossed accetate that has glitter on it also , there is a spellbinder shape, then the cross i cut with my Cameo . There are 4 layers to the cross , all mounted on sticky pads . The greeting i made in the Craft Artist software , it looks gold/bronze with a touch of green/blue on the wording .... The insert was done using Docraft Digital Designer .

I am really pleased with how this turned out , i have to make a box today so will get on with that and add pictures later ......

Back again

2 posts in one morning i am doing well lol,  this card was a pleasure to make cos i was able to get all my Promarkers out and do some colouring , the image is so gorgeous , i printed out 4 of the same images and messed around with different colour ways for them all , i will make the others up later, but for now here is the one i made at 2-30 this morning ....

I cut the shape out after colouring it in , as the orginal has wings ,  i matted it onto my favourite (at the moment) spellbinder shape , using a lovely brown patterned paper from my stash .

the card base is HunkyDory adorable scorable in a dark brown , i cut four strips of different patterened paper from a paperstack i had bought . The lace is from stash , and i added some twine , a wooden button , and some Cosmic Shimmer  PVA pearls in gold . I was really pleased with how this card all came together really quickly ,  hope you like it too .......

Flowers everywhere ......

Morning to all my fellow bloggers and friends ,  its a gorgeous morning here , i went out and drank my coffee outside on my balcony , there is a breeze but the sun is really hot ... Lets hope it continues ...

Today i have made a card for my best buddy for her birthday ,  i wont say how old she is , but you dont look it Jan ..... The card was a pleasure to make as it meant i could get all my Spellbinders out , i havent really used them for awhile like this , I really do hope she likes it .....

The base card is from The Papermill , its a lovely soft cream , the mats are from my stash , the first is a really dark green marble effect , and the second is a soft alover pattern green .  I cut the shapes with my Spellbinders dies , the greeting is i think just right for her ,  the flowers i got from my stash , and the pearl beads i did using Cosmic Shimmer Pearl PVA , i love this stuff , its so controlled ,  and there dries clear glue is fantastic ..

If for any reason you get lost just go back to the beggining and start again .  This is my first ever blog hop so i hope i have done everything right ,  and you guys have lots of fun .....

My cards for the DT challenge are these 2 ,  i coloured in 4 of these images , all different , but a friend called and saw them and wanted them all , i told her she could have 2 so she took them before i could get a picture of them .... Here is what i had left to show you guys . the top card is coloured with Promarkers in purple/lilac and black all the papers and embellishmenmts from my stash ,  the large flower on the top card i made from white cardstock ,  but the others are from a purchase from Ebay ,  i finished this card off with a double bow of black and purple ribbon .

The 2nd card was also coloured with Promarkers , again papers from stash , the red on this card was an envelope i cut down and used a Martha Stewert punch along the edge . I cut 3 x 2-1/2 inch scallop circles from the same envelope used 2 white side up and the 3rd red facing , the greeting was from stash as was the pearls .  I really liked working with these images , they were fun to colour , and no matter what colours you used they all turned out really nice ......

Well its taken me 2 days to write all this so i will stop rambling now ,  and let you all get on with the blog hop ....dont forget have fun , ....Hugs Sue xx

Forever Friends challenge DT cards

 I made these cards as my DT cards i couldnt pick whicjh one to post but was told both would be posted so here they are .

I really enjoyed making these , messing with shapes in my Silhouette Studio Software to make them up , and cutting out on my Cameo , i LOVE  this machine , its the bestest thing i have ever bought ...

All the images, background paper and embellishments were printed form the Digital Designer programme , the only other thing i added was glitter and the white chenile ribbon on the red hat , i dont know why i bought that but it does look effective , so will definatley use it again ....

Right hear is my card for this weeks challenge at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge Blog   This week the theme is Red White and Blue , the cards the DT have made are gorgeous , please take a look .

I have trouble making cards in the red white and blue theme i dont know why i just struggle with these colours when they are all together , so forgive me if this card isnt up to the usual , for me i did try my best ..So here is the card in question ,   the image is a new release from LOTV i enjoyed colouring this one in ,  its sooooo cute ,  papers ,card, ribbon and embellishments are all from my stash  oh nearly forgot , the heart shaped wooden button in the middle od the bow i got loads from ebay and they cost next to nothing , i first saw them on Create and Craft and thought they were lovely but exspensive , thats why i looked on Ebay ..... ......Hugs Sue xxx
