Card i have entered into there challenge .

I used a 5 an half x 5 an half card blank
2x backing papers from Granmas Button Box cd
1 white doily for MCS
A spellbinder outer shape that  was leftover from another card .
Free Digi stamp i coloured in with coloured pencils , From Whoopsie Daisy site 9thanks for that ).
Flowers from stash .
Card candi, pearls and crystal gems .

 I really enjoyed making this and love how it turned out ......

Magnolia card

Well today i have made a Magnolia card ,  my first one .

I used  kanban shaped card and esed an embossing folder on the front ,  i gathered some lace from stash up and placed on sticky tape at the bottom , covered with a bit of the paper from Hot off the press paper pad , and placed ribbon through the holes i punched in it . I couloured the image in with my pro markers , used spellbinder to cut out the shape , then inked to compliment the colours in the image , i placed a greeting with ribbon on the top and embellished with flowers ,brads, and gems ..

week 3 Polka Dooles Sketch Challenge

This card was made for a blog challenge , over at Polka Doodles Blog , I used the papers from Pretty sweet cd , (love the colours on this cd) , i added a calendar tab (that i inked to match ) a doily some flowers i cut from backing paper , and small pearls and ribbon to finish off .  This is the first time i have entered a blog challenge and when i saw the breif i just had to have a go . 

This i made yesterday ,  the image is from LOTV , card is a shaped card from Kanban , i used various spellbinders and flatback pearls ,  i took the verse from the new MCS cd more than just words 3 . I am not used to doing basically all white cards but i enjoyed doing this . 

Morning from a wet and cold west yorks ,  i made a card yesterday using my Me To You paper kit , it is a gatefold easel 5x5 card .  The card blanks are from Kanban (i used 2) i made the paper flowers from contrasting paper from my stash , and added some ribbon ,and stickles to embellish . 

Here is the other gift i made and sent to a special person ,   this is an address book from MCS Floriography cds ,  i made the design and inside sheets smaller so it could go into an handbag ,  i embellished it with paper beads i had made and ribbon from stash ,  i love making these books , i made a bigger one for myself over Christmas ,  saved me buying one lol.

Hiya all ,  have not been able to post for a few days as internet has been playing up , everytime i tried to post pc crashed on me ,  hopefully its sorted itself out now . 

So here goes ,   Firstly i have to explain ,  i was sent a stamp a few weeks ago from a wonderfully kind person from a forum a i am a member of ,  i was so grateful i had to make her a thankyou card ,  but when i started i couldnt stop and ended up making her a few things , so here they are ;-   the card is a easel card ,  i used forever friends decoupage kit for the image ,  also used spellbinders beaded ovals , the largest die ,  and Marianne designables cutting and embossing folder no DS0907 ,  the backing papers are from Hot off the press , flowers from a ribbon strip i cut up , also brads and ribbon from my stash .

Morning ,  wow it is soooooo cold this morn ,  frost and ice around us today , thank goodness for central heating ......

It took me ages to write the post for yesterday getting all the pictures right , then i saved it instead of publishing it , i was looking alover for the post couldnt find it anywere till this morn so have published it now ,  age and technology dont go together in my world  lol..

Well i have made another card ,  i think i am going through a purple stage as i seem to be making mostly purple cards . 

This easel card was made using the MCS collectors Edition cd2 ladies ,  i glittered the topper , (wings and mask),  cut out the shaped card using 1 of my plastic templates ,  matted and layered , the plain card on the base is Topsy Turvy card that i ran through my cuttlebug .  The greeting was made in the mcs programme , then just embellished it with paper rose buds ,  some fibres wrapped around the stems ,   a bow , and   a few pearl gems .

This card was card for a sample for MCS show on C&C on Thursday 26th Jan at 6pm .....

Hiya all ,  its been a lovely sunny day here today ,  but we have had frost on everything all day ,  and its bitter cold ,  glad i can stay inside and craft lol  .  when i have made a notelet set today , i am really pleased with the way it turned out . 

I used MCS Collectors Edition cd 2 , i used 3 sheets of backing paper ,  2 sheets of 300gsm white silk art card from Hunky Dory , i also printed out a topper ,  4 sheets of small cards that i resized , and 8 sheets of envelopes also resized  all from the same design , i typed the words A Gift 4 U  on the topper for the front of the set .
I decorated it all with ric rac ribbon and fibres down the spine of the cover , i then took a pen to bits , rolled a strip of backing paper up very tight and placed it inside the pen and replaced all the bits , i added fibres to the lid , and made a tube from paper , stuck it inside on the spine and put the pen in there .

This set was made as a sample for the MCS show on C&C on Thurs 26th Jan .....

Here are a few cards i have made over the last 2 days ,   all different in theme and in colours as you can see .

First ever blog post .....

I am new to blogging ,  but sure i will get the hang of it ,  Its only taken me 4 hours to get this far lol.

I will be posting pictures of papercraft items i will be making ,  it keeps me occupied and helps keep the old grey matter ticking over .
